According to a March 2009 NY Times article, free throw shooting percentage has not improved in 50 years. And according to this article, which you can find on our website, 20% of all points in a game come from the free throw line. In fact, about 2/3’s of a winning team’s points in the final minute typically come from the free throw line.
The FREE THROW TRAINER can give you and your team an edge by addressing what we believe are the 4 major reasons free throws are missed.
#1 Free throws are missed because shots are off center (often due to ineffective shooting ritual and mechanics).
